About The Position
This is a temp-to-hire position for a Dishwasher/Kitchen Assistant. The role involves maintaining kitchen sanitation standards, operating dishwashing equipment, and assisting with various kitchen duties. The pay rate is $16.30/hour, with a potential attendance bonus of $350 for perfect attendance during the first 30 days. The work schedule is Monday-Friday, with variable hours. A drug screen and background check are required prior to employment.
Requirements
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Must maintain professional conduct appropriate for a school environment
- Must be able to follow safety, sanitation, and supervisor instructions
- Must follow the smoke-free campus policy
Nice To Haves
- Food-service or commercial-kitchen experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, trays, utensils, pots, and pans
- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment
- Clean counters, floors, equipment, and kitchen work areas
- Remove trash and maintain sanitation standards
- Assist with stocking, serving, and other basic kitchen duties as needed
- Follow all food-safety and sanitation procedures
