Requirements

Self-starting personality with a steady, even-keeled disposition; able to work productively with minimal direction.
Professional appearance and manner maintained at all times in the kitchen environment.
Physical ability to perform repetitive motions throughout the shift including lifting, bending, stooping, walking, pushing, and pulling heavy equipment.
Ability to stand for extended periods and work at a consistent production pace throughout the shift.
Reliable, dependable, and punctual; committed to showing up and contributing every shift.
Positive, team-oriented attitude; willing to support the kitchen team across tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

Sweep and mop kitchen floors throughout the shift to maintain cleanliness and safety.
Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks to uphold sanitation standards.
Segregate, remove, and properly dispose of trash and garbage in designated containers.
Steam clean or hose out garbage cans to maintain hygiene.
Sort bottles and process disposable items using the bottle crushing machine.
Wash pots, pans, and trays by hand.
Scrape food from dirty dishes and wash them by hand or load them into racks for the dishwashing machine.
Polish silverware using burnishing-machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel, and hand cloth.
