About The Position

This position is responsible for performing duties to maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen by washing kitchen items, equipment, and area, removing trash, and maintaining equipment and supplies. The role requires supporting and adhering to the company's core values, mission statement, service fundamentals, and guest service philosophy. Additional duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

Requirements

High School completion or an equivalent level of education and experience
Must thrive in a multi-tasking, fast paced working environment
Ability to perform repetitive motions; lift, bend, stoop, walk, push, or pull heavy equipment, and stand for extended periods of time

Responsibilities

Sweeps and mops floors
Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks
Segregates and removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containers
Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans
Sorts bottles and breaks disposable ones in bottle crushing machine
Washes pots, pans and trays by hand
Scrapes food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on a conveyor to dishwashing machine
Polishes silver, using burnishing-machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel, and hand cloth
Holds inverted glasses over revolving brushes to clean inside surfaces
Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or by use of a hand truck
Sets up banquet tables
Washes and peels vegetables using a knife or peeling machine
May perform cleaning duties for banquets and conventions
Required to be always in uniform when working on the property including wearing name identification badge
