About The Position

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Dishwasher/Dietary Aide to help maintain clean and organized kitchen and dining areas in a long-term care facility. The role supports the provision of nutritious meals and positive experiences for residents, staff, and guests. Duties may also include trayline and food preparation tasks as needed. The position requires following food safety and sanitation guidelines, performing routine and repetitive tasks, and working around food and cleaning products. Employees must be able to meet the stated physical demands and live within the service area. Pay starts at $18.42 per hour and may vary based on location, experience, staffing needs, and other business factors.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous food service or kitchen experience preferred but not required.
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
Ability to lift or carry up to 30 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification, as required by state or county law.
Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously and work around food and cleaning products.
Residency within the service area is required.

Responsibilities

Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils thoroughly.
Sanitize kitchen equipment, workstations, and dining areas.
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Dispose of waste and recycle materials as needed.
Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests and provide excellent customer service.
Perform trayline and food preparation duties as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
