Dishwasher Associate - Part Time - Tahiti Village Resort
About The Position
The Food and Beverage Associate will be responsible for providing excellent guest service as it pertains to the food and beverage outlets of resort. This role will promptly address guest service needs, clean and stock all areas based on inventory control. This role will ensure the packaged products are stocked, maintain cleanliness of all food and beverage areas. This role will maintain the company’s expected high quality standards and will follow all safety protocols as dictated by company policy and maintain Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards at all times. Primarily responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitization of dishes, tableware, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils through manual and machine cleaning methods. Responsible for keeping dish area clean and organized, returning items to proper locations, and assisting all employees with proper sanitation help.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Required Clark County Health Card
- A gracious, friendly, patient and helpful attitude towards guests
- Flexible schedule with full availability on nights and weekends
- Working knowledge of food and beverage laws and regulations
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with employees, guests and owners.
- Possess ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- A professional appearance and positive, can-do attitude with team focus.
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize used smallwares from dining and kitchen areas
- Load and unload dishwashing machines
- Wash specific items by hand (e.g. wooden cutting boards, large pots and delicate china)
- Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment appropriately
- Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils, especially during peak hours
- Maintain cleaning supplies stock (e.g. detergents) and inform to order when necessary
- Check washing machines’ operation and promptly report any technical/performance issues
- Remove garbage regularly
