About The Position

We are seeking a conscientious second shift cleaner to join our team. Candidates must have reliable availability and a willingness to be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment. The ideal candidate would also be able to make our bulk batches of custard - ability and willingness to perform this additional duty would entitle candidates to higher pay rates. Requirements

Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work
Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices and techniques
Ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness and attention to detail
Familiarity with using cleaning equipment and supplies
Ability to safely lift and maneuver a hot pan weighing ~50 lbs (required for custard)
Dishwashing: 1 year (Required)
Reliable availability

Nice To Haves

Previous work as a porter or janitor in facilities maintenance
Knowledge of proper sanitation procedures in a commercial setting
Commercial cleaning: 2 years (Preferred)
Saturday 7:30 am - Noon (negotiable)

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning tasks such as washing pans and other bakery equipment, mopping floors, etc.
Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
Empty trash receptacles and transport waste to disposal area
Maintain cleanliness of common areas including hallways and lobby
Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed
Follow proper procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment
Make bulk batches of custard
