About The Position

A Dishroom attendant is responsible for handling and processing washable items to ensure cleanliness and readiness for service. This role is crucial in maintaining the operational efficiency of the dishroom and contributing to a positive customer experience during journeys.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• Up to one year of experience is preferred.
• Must possess a current U.S. driver's license.
• Ability to read and write to complete required forms.
• Effective communication skills with supervisors and co-workers.
• Ability to work assigned schedules, which may vary and include weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.
• Punctuality and adherence to work schedule.
• Compliance with company policies.
• Ability to complete paperwork and related administrative duties.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment, and supplies up to fifty (50) pounds frequently during a shift.
• Ability to regularly stand, bend, lift, and move intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours.

Responsibilities

• Separates washable items such as trays, bowls, plates, cups, glasses, and silverware.
• Places items on the dishwasher conveyor belt for washing.
• Retrieves washed items from the belt and stows them as required, which may include packing according to customer diagrams.
• Follows directions accurately.
• Works effectively as a member of a team.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by management.
