About The Position

Chandler Elementary School is seeking a Dish Room staff member to work 3.0 hours per day, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This role involves various duties related to dishwashing, food production support, serving line setup and operation, and closing tasks. The position requires the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Wash and put away dishes
• Fill sinks with clean water
• Take food items out of ovens if needed
• Complete HACCP documentation logs
• Put up stock
• Set up serving lines for the first serving line
• Serve/run during lunch serving lines
• Perform dish room, temperature, and cleaning duties
• Rotate between serving lines
• Clean assigned area during closing
• Sweep and mop
• Take out trash
• Perform weekly and monthly cleaning tasks (e.g., wash mats, bathroom cleaning, de-lime dishwasher)
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the manager

Benefits

• Starting pay of $13.00 per hour during training
• Pay increase to $17.95 per hour upon completion of training and positive review
