The Department of Economic Security (DES), Division of Technology Services (DTS), is seeking an experienced and highly motivated professional to join our team as a Disaster Recovery Architect. This position will proactively solve unique and complex systems problems and provide expert-level support through performing system analysis and design, operations and maintenance, security, systems management, technical support, and resource management. The Disaster Recovery Architect is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the restoration of vital systems and data after a natural or human-made disaster. The DR Architect coordinates with Division leaders, teams of engineers, technicians, and other IT professionals to ensure the organization can quickly recover from any type of disruption. This position may offer the ability to work remotely within Arizona based upon the department's needs and continual meetings of expected performance measures. The State of Arizona strives for a work culture that affords employees flexibility, autonomy, and trust. Across our many agencies, boards, commissions, many State employees participate in the State's Remote Work Program and are able to work remotely in their homes, in offices, and in hoteling spaces. All work, including remote work, should be performed within Arizona unless an exception is properly authorized in advance.
