About The Position

This position involves operating basic hand tools and performing detailed cleaning of parts using solvents, brushes, and scrapers. The associate will verify the tag of the Bill of Materials (BOM) matches the unit provided. The disassembly process includes removing external components like bolts and seals, followed by the oil pan to access internal parts. Further steps involve removing the valve body, pump(s), wiring harness, and clutch packs. Finally, associates will clean parts using solvent, place them in baskets, and send them through a washer.

Requirements

• Ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs.
• Ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be approx. 8-10 hours).
• Ability to use handheld tools such as Impacts, Pneumatic Drills, Hammers etc.

Responsibilities

• Verify the tag of the BOM matches the unit (core) provided.
• Remove bolts, seals, etc. from the outside of the unit.
• Remove the oil pan of the unit.
• Remove the valve body, pump(s), wiring harness, clutch packs, etc.
• Clean parts using solvent.
• Place parts in baskets.
• Send parts through a washer.
