About The Position

This position is for a skilled disassembly role, specifically in deboning meat from hog carcasses. The plant was formerly known as Williams Sausage Company and is now named Hickman Rd Plant/Greenfield Dr Plant, located at 5132 Old Troy Hickman Road, Union City, TN. The role is full-time with a starting pay of $22.95/HR. Candidates must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation. Requirements

6 Months work experience with one employer in the last 24 months. Worker history must be documented on application or resume.
Requires the use of knives and knife sharpening equipment.
Manual dexterity required for performing job.
Must be willing and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Debone meat from hog carcasses.
Keep work area clean and tidy during production.
Recondition meat that has touched an unsanitary surface.
Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs).
Monitor Critical Control Points (CCP) as specified in plant’s Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point Plan (HACCP).
Other duties as assigned.
Provide on-the-job training to new team members.
