The Disabled Veteran Outreach Provider (DVOP) role with Job Service allows you to put your experience to work in a purpose-driven, team-oriented environment. You will help individuals identify their strengths, connect to meaningful employment, and navigate a clear path forward. Along the way, you will collaborate with local employers and partners to strengthen the workforce and support a resilient, mission-ready community. As a Disabled Veteran Outreach Provider (DVOP) you will play a key role in empowering our area’s disabled veterans to achieve meaningful employment and career growth. This position collaborates with veterans to develop personalized job search plans, provides individualized support through career counseling and resource coordination, and helps disabled veterans and other categories of veterans enhance their job readiness skills. By building strong connections with local employers, facilitating workshops, and offering up-to-date labor market insights, the DVOP serves as a bridge between talent and opportunity, contributing to a stronger workforce and resilient community. This position also serves as a central connector for key veteran support systems in the region, coordinating with the VA Hospital, VA Vocational Rehabilitation, Veterans Treatment Court, Joining Community Forces, and the State Veterans Affairs Division to ensure continuity of support and meaningful outcomes for veterans.
