Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in a field related to Human Services and two years of documented experience providing direct services with individuals with a diagnosis of an intellectual or other developmental disabilities.
  • Equivalent Experience is defined as five years of paid experience in providing direction, development and implementation, direct supervision and monitoring (observation and evaluation of staff implementing care, service plans & interacting with persons in services) to the service provided.
  • Must have documented experience developing, conducting, and approving assessments and individual service plans or treatment plans.
  • Successful experience as a leader
  • Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

  • Provides oversight, vision, and general leadership for the regional department.
  • Supervise and assist all levels of management, and employees.
  • Support regional program leadership with professional development ensuring management is aligned with TRACK core values.
  • Generate program growth throughout the catchment area and operate the program within the defined budget restraints.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders, community, and workforce to create positive customer care focused mindset.
  • Lead a team of managers to help maintain our high-quality service and align with TRACK.
  • Train new management team members according to training pathway for positions.
  • Participate in management meetings to brainstorm new and innovative ideas for our programs, address and problem-solve issues, develop positive working relationships.
  • Attend provider meetings, community meetings, relevant conferences and other essential gatherings.
  • Act as manager on duty in the absence of the State Director, as assigned.
  • Coordinate the training for those responsible for development and implementation of service plans, objectives and methods necessary for providing effective services to individuals, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance.
  • Assist with marketing, program growth and development by attending career, resource, and community fairs.
  • Participate and lead teams through internal and external audits, internal and external investigations, and assure compliance throughout all processes.
  • Ensure chart compliance standards through training and accountability for chart audits and remediations.
  • As directed by supervisor, serve as administrator of daily operations by assisting with planning, organizing, staffing, directing, managing, and evaluating all services provided.
  • Assist with the interviewing, selection and training of staff through ongoing assessment of job performance.
  • Manage and track regional program budget.
  • Monitor all operational Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and report trends to State Director and troubleshoot and problem solve trends impacting growth of program or region.
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with licensure, Medicaid, Department of Social Services, and all other applicable local, state, and federal regulatory standards as directed by the State Director.
  • Assist staff with assuring continuous improvements in the quality of care and corresponding documentation to include the development of Individual Service Plans (ISPs), helping to initiate and participate in treatment teams, and helping with the management of outcome measures (i.e. effectively using satisfaction surveys and other tools).
