This permanent part-time position at Bentleigh involves providing assistance with activities of daily living and contributing to the development, implementation, and review of Individual Plans. The role supports 2 males and 2 females who have physical, behavioural and medical support needs and so, the successful candidate will have previous experience supporting people with behaviour support plans, manual handling and medical support. Please see below the set roster. Roster Split is 33:00/44:30

Requirements

  • Experience with behaviour support plans
  • Previous experience in manual handling
  • Confidence and experience in providing personal care
  • A commitment to supporting and promoting the individual needs, skills, abilities and personal goals of people with disabilities.
  • The ability to develop a positive relationship with clients and to support their Individual Personal Plan.
  • Cert IV in Disability or similar
  • A current Senior First Aid (level 2) Certificate.
  • A current unrestricted Driver Licence and willingness to drive a company van.
  • Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including a National Criminal History Record Check and an International Criminal History Record Check; if you have resided for 12 months or more outside of Australia in the last 10 years.
