The DIRECTV Technician will take charge of the installation, maintenance, and repair of DIRECTV satellite systems across multiple settings. This position demands a combination of technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and outstanding customer service to ensure all clients receive top-quality support and service.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in satellite installation, telecommunications, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in diverse environments such as residential, commercial, lodging, and institutional settings is a plus.
  • Strong technical understanding of satellite systems and troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with DIRECTV products and services is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on delivering high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment, work at heights, and adapt to various physical environments.
  • Relevant certification or training in satellite installation is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct professional installations of DIRECTV satellite systems. This involves setting up satellite dishes, receivers, and related equipment while ensuring both functionality and customer satisfaction. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment during installation.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues with DIRECTV systems. Carry out necessary repairs and adjustments to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by clearly explaining system operations, addressing client questions, and efficiently resolving any concerns.
  • Offer expert guidance and assistance on system usage, troubleshooting, and upgrades, customized to meet the specific requirements of our clients.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and industry regulations during installations and service visits. Ensure compliance with company standards and procedures.
  • Complete and submit all required paperwork accurately, including service reports, installation forms, and customer feedback documents.
  • Keep company tools and equipment in excellent working order. Manage inventory and ensure proper handling and storage of equipment.
