About The Position

Join GDIT as a Directory Services System Administrator and you will build an impactful career in enterprise IT, collaborating with people who are driven and resourceful like you. As Directory Services System Administrator, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the customer’s mission. Proven ability in managing, monitoring, maintaining, troubleshooting, and updating Active Directory services and hybrid authentication systems. Provide support in managing identity, access, authentication, and centralized resource management systems and platforms. Resolve technical issues, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of directory services under guidance or as part of a team. Utilize automation and orchestration tools for streamlined maintenance and monitoring of directory services systems. Assist in evaluating and implementing new tools and technologies to enhance the directory services environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. Experience may be substituted for education.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Active Directory services architecture and management, Group Policy management, domain controller management, security configurations, AD Schema, PowerShell and PKI.
  • Understanding of system security, authentication protocols, and access control methodologies.
  • Clearance Level Must Currently Possess: Top Secret and SCI eligible
  • Required: US Citizenship
  • Required: DoD 8140 IAT II compliant

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure/AWS Admin, Azure/AWS Security, Windows Server Hybrid Administrator, MCSE)

Responsibilities
