About The Position

Capgemini Invent is seeking a Director to lead its FinOps and technology value offering. The role helps CIOs, CFOs, and CTOs realize measurable business value from cloud, SaaS, and AI investments. It involves shaping and selling programs, building executive relationships, and developing repeatable offerings, talent, and delivery capabilities.

The Director will work in an AI-enabled consulting model, using analytics, automation, and generative AI to augment human judgment and help clients reimagine work. The role also requires AI literacy and the ability to identify and support AI-enabled opportunities, collaborate across strategy, technology, data, and design, and apply responsible AI principles.

The position is focused on portfolio leadership, including oversight of delivery quality and value realization across FinOps engagements, as well as building partnerships and scaling the practice. The posted base compensation range is $159,375 to $311,680. The role may also be eligible for variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions. Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in technology financial management, cloud economics, or technology strategy consulting.
• Demonstrated sales and account growth track record, or clear trajectory, in complex technology programs.
• Executive presence with CFO and CIO audiences; strong facilitation and storyline development skills.
• Deep expertise in FinOps operating models, cloud commercial models, and value realization.
• Established connectivity with hyperscaler and FinOps tooling ecosystems.
• Strong people leadership and ability to scale teams and delivery quality.
• Strong AI literacy, including core AI and generative AI concepts, and understanding of their application in enterprise transformation.
• Experience working in AI-augmented ways to enhance research, analysis, and solution development.
• Understanding of responsible AI principles, including ethics, privacy, security, and governance.
• Curiosity and a continuous learning mindset about emerging AI capabilities and their practical application in client environments.

• FinOps Certified Professional or equivalent standing in the FinOps community.

Responsibilities

• Own senior client relationships with CIO, CFO, and CTO stakeholders on technology value and cost governance.
• Shape and sell FinOps and cloud value programs, including assessments, business cases, operating models, and managed optimization.
• Lead C-suite workshops aligning technology spending with business strategy and unit economics.
• Oversee delivery quality and value realization across a portfolio of FinOps engagements.
• Extend FinOps beyond public cloud to SaaS, licensing, data platforms, and AI workloads.
• Build repeatable offerings, assets, and partnerships with hyperscalers and tooling providers to scale the practice.
• Develop leaders and grow the team's capability and performance.
• Identify and support AI-enabled opportunities that improve business outcomes and delivery effectiveness.
• Collaborate across strategy, technology, data, and design to enable AI-driven solutions.
