About The Position

Kiddie Academy is hiring an energetic, organized, and inspiring educator to lead a child care school. The Director combines early childhood education and small business management experience with communication and creative skills to guide a team of child care professionals and support children and families in the community.

The role involves operating and managing all aspects of the school, including human resources, customer relations, financial systems, quality control, and facility management. The Director also provides creative, age-appropriate programs and builds positive relationships with families, the community, and state licensing authorities.

Requirements

• Four-year degree in Early Childhood Education or a related area of Child Development.
• Two years of experience as a Director or Assistant Director in a child care school.
• Meet all requirements stipulated by the state for this position.
• Pleasant, friendly demeanor and an outgoing personality.
• Highly professional and dependable.
• Ability to interact appropriately with students of all ages and skill levels, as well as with parents, coworkers, and management.
• Ability to lift at least 40 pounds consistently throughout the workday to at least waist height.

Responsibilities

• Effectively operate and manage all aspects of a child care school, including human resources, customer relations, financial systems, quality control, and facility management.
• Provide creative, age-appropriate programs to all children served at the academy.
• Actively develop and maintain positive customer and community relations.
• Maintain high capacity utilization and manage all resources effectively and within budget.
• Establish strong working relationships with state licensing authorities.
