About The Position

The Director runs all School operations effectively and efficiently while promoting the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in their care. The Director works with School staff to create an environment for learning and keeps parents informed about their child’s progress. This role oversees staff, supports implementation of the Company-provided curriculum, and ensures the School meets company and state licensing standards while providing a caring and safe environment for children and parents.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state education requirements; additional center or School requirements may apply.
• Willingness to attain state-mandated Director requirements.
• 1–2 years of supervisory or management experience overseeing at least six non-exempt associates.

Nice To Haves

• CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Experience in early childhood education is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage School staff by planning work schedules, evaluating performance, and developing performance improvement plans.
• Assist with implementation of the Company-provided curriculum by coaching, communicating, and interpreting standards with teachers.
• Be accountable for School operations and ensure the School operates in accordance with company and state licensing standards.
• Ensure an educational, caring, and safe environment for children and parents.
• Promote children’s imagination, self-esteem, and daily discovery.
• Promote the positive image of the company and help make it a provider of choice in educational programs for the communities it serves.
• Recruit, select, and retain quality staff.
• Help achieve profitability for the company.
