About The Position

The Director provides supervision, support, and guidance to all Mount Pleasant Academy (MPA) staff. This role involves emergency crisis intervention and assessment, supervision of all staff clinical and administrative documentation, and oversight of all services provided to MPA clients and their families. The Director is responsible for supervising the overall therapeutic milieu of the program and ensuring compliance with all state and federal laws, regulations, and guidelines.

Requirements

Master's degree in human services (psychology, social work, marriage/family, etc.) required.
LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or doctorate in the field of psychology/behavioral health required.
10+ years prior clinical supervisory experience required.
Minimum 5 years experience working in a day or inpatient children’s psychiatric hospital, or 7 years experience in a special education setting required.
5+ years experience running/supervising an independent program/agency/facility required.
Significant experience with program budgeting, fundraising, and grant-writing.
Possession of a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and auto insurance also required.

Responsibilities

Serve as a positive behavioral role model for colleagues and clients.
Review all program referrals and determine appropriateness of admission.
Supervise the services provided by all team members.
Conduct ongoing evaluation of all treatment interventions.
Meet or exceed Agency productivity expectations.
Ensure that staff maintain professional and accurate documentation, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and outcome evaluative tools, and provide education in these areas as needed.
Complete administrative documentation (time sheets, service activity logs, etc.) in a timely manner.
Supervise all staff member’s productivity levels, time sheets, work quality, and ability to meet timelines.
Oversee the performance evaluation process of all MPA and related employees.
Build and maintain positive, working relationships with community organizations, school departments, and providers.
Provide clinical services to students and families as needed.
Provide clinical and administrative supervision as required.
Develop new program services and revenue streams.
Assess and recommend/develop new programs and services related to the mission of MPA.
Perform other duties as assigned.
