About The Position

This role involves directing newscasts, collaborating with the production crew, and designing graphics. The Director, along with the producer, establishes the pace and segment sequences of newscasts to meet time requirements and accessibility standards. This position ensures smooth live broadcasts, handles last-minute changes professionally, and communicates effectively under pressure. Responsibilities also include editing and encoding daily episodic and Network promotions, and maintaining adequate studio lighting levels. Punctuality and adherence to the established schedule are expected.

Requirements

• Possess knowledge of transmission, broadcasting, switching, control and operations of television systems.
• Must be flexible and able to deal with unexpected show changes calmly.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience directing live newscasts.
• Proven leadership skills; prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Graphic design experience preferred.

Responsibilities
