About The Position

This is a senior individual contributor role focused on building and operating a content engine and demand generation function from scratch for a premier Amazon agency. The goal is to attract premium and luxury brands by creating world-class content and a robust pipeline engine. The role operates with AI as a force multiplier, external creative agencies for video production, and a dedicated paid media agency. The individual will report to the CMO and work directly with the Co-Founders, owning marketing's pipeline contribution. The role has two main pillars: The Content Engine and Demand Generation. The Content Engine involves building an editorial strategy, producing written and video content, managing SEO and organic search, and developing a repurposing engine. The Demand Generation pillar focuses on building an inbound engine, running integrated campaigns, directing paid media strategy, partnering with sales on ABM, and owning the funnel from first touch to qualified opportunity. The operating model emphasizes using AI to compress the work of a five-person team into the output of one operator, with external agencies extending production capacity.

Requirements

  • 7+ years across content marketing and demand generation.
  • A portfolio of AI-leveraged work that punches above the headcount that produced it.
  • Hands-on craft in writing, with the editorial chops to set the bar yourself.
  • Experience directing video work and managing external creative agencies.
  • A track record of building inbound engines from zero, solo.
  • Comfort with attribution, pipeline math, and revenue conversations.
  • AI-forward and AI-native.
  • Proven ability to carry a pipeline number and hit it as an individual contributor.

Responsibilities

  • Build the content function from scratch and run it like a publisher of one.
  • Develop editorial strategy and calendar across owned channels.
  • Produce written content including thought leadership, long-form, editorial, and short-form copy.
  • Direct video content strategy, write briefs, and manage external creative agencies.
  • Manage SEO, organic search, and content distribution.
  • Create social and short-form content that compounds reach.
  • Develop a repurposing engine that turns one asset into ten.
  • Own marketing's pipeline contribution and build the inbound engine that drives qualified inquiries from premium brands.
  • Run integrated campaigns that connect content, channels, and sales.
  • Direct paid media strategy across channels with a dedicated agency executing and a monthly working budget.
  • Partner with sales on ABM and intent signals for target accounts.
  • Own the funnel from first touch to qualified opportunity.
  • Measure, report, and defend pipeline contribution against revenue.
