About The Position

As Director, TV, Video, Audio & Display (TVAD), you will lead a portfolio of clients as the senior, day-to-day owner of client relationships and growth agendas. You will align team recommendations with client goals, set expectations, and build trust with senior stakeholders by proactively creating opportunities to meet, present, and influence decisions. You will partner with internal leaders to resolve escalations, connect TVAD with Search, Social, Commerce/Retail Media, and Creative, and translate platform, competitive, and Bliss Point TVAD insights into executive-ready actions. In partnership with the Client or Pod Leader and Finance, you will own the financial health of your client portfolio, including margin, utilization/capacity, and forecast accuracy. The role leads full-funnel TVAD plans across CTV/OTT, online video, digital audio/podcasts, and programmatic display. It calls for product-led optimization, sound measurement and data practices, cross-channel planning, financial stewardship, and building a high-performing team. The position is fully remote. Tinuiti supports 100% remote work for this role.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in TV, video, audio, and display, with proven results at scale across multiple partners and formats including CTV/OTT/Linear, online video, digital audio/podcasts, and programmatic display.
  • Management experience.
  • Hands-on knowledge of DSP/ad platforms and ad-server workflows.
  • Experience with frequency and overlap management, audience and data usage, quality and verification (including viewability, IVT, and brand safety), and coordinating with publishers/PMPs.
  • Knowledge of incrementality/lift, powered A/B testing or time-series measurement, and forecasting.
  • Ability to connect media to revenue, CAC, LTV, incremental reach, and attention.
  • Cross-channel literacy and ability to connect TVAD with Search, Social, Commerce/Retail Media, CRM, and Creative in executive-ready narratives.
  • Financial acumen in margin and utilization management, capacity planning, reliable forecasting with Finance, and aligning staffing to priorities.
  • Clear, concise storytelling, expectation-setting skills, and confidence working with senior clients and internal leaders.

Nice To Haves

  • SQL familiarity.

Responsibilities

  • Own senior-stakeholder relationships and the client growth agenda; align full-funnel TVAD plans to business goals and secure decisions on options and trade-offs.
  • Lead client onboarding, transitions, escalations, and expansion; support new business with clear narratives tied to measurable impact.
  • Orchestrate optimization across partners and DSPs, including goal strategies, pacing, frequency and overlap control, and quality, brand-safety, and verification practices; pilot, measure, and scale initiatives.
  • Embed Bliss Point insights into planning and allocation, and close feedback loops with Product and Analytics to improve tools and models.
  • Establish measurement practices with success thresholds and read cadence, using geo, lift, or holdout methods where feasible and appropriate A/B or time-series approaches otherwise.
  • Forecast expected impact and risk, collaborate with the Media Investment team on data and operations health, and require forecast-versus-actual narratives in executive decisions.
  • Connect TVAD with Search, Social, Commerce/Retail Media, CRM, TV/Audio, and Creative; propose integrated plans and measurement approaches and codify reusable playbooks.
  • Make and stand behind decisions that maximize client outcomes within agreed guardrails; surface trade-offs and maintain a decision log tied to Rocks/KPIs.
  • Partner with Client Lead, Finance, and Analytics to forecast impact, track plans against actuals, and course-correct; protect margin and utilization by prioritizing high-value work.
  • Identify and de-risk growth opportunities through pilots with clear thresholds, then scale successful approaches and document playbooks.
  • Address recurring waste such as unmanaged frequency, viewability or IVT issues, overlapping buys, and tagging gaps; establish standards to prevent recurrence and shorten resolution time.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team through clear Rocks/KPIs, weekly 1:1s, timely feedback, capability development, succession planning, hiring, and onboarding.
  • Install governance through standards, scorecards, and QA cadence, and coach managers to lead the system.
  • Set clear craft and leadership standards, coach managers and senior individual contributors, and continue learning, including responsible use of new tools and AI.
