The Segment & Transformation Communications team partners with executives and business leaders to help employees, customers, and external stakeholders understand and adopt change through clear, thoughtful, and timely communications.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of communications experience supporting complex business initiatives, organizational change, and strategic transformations.
  • Demonstrated success leading communications for large-scale change programs, restructures, leadership transitions, or M&A activities.
  • Strong executive communications and advisory experience with senior leaders.
  • Expertise in developing internal, external, and customer-facing communications strategies.
  • Exceptional writing, storytelling, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Strong business judgment and experience handling confidential or sensitive information.
  • Experience translating complex topics into clear, actionable communications.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled tools and data-driven approaches that support communication planning, engagement, and change adoption.
  • Ability to work independently in fast-changing environments and adjust communications strategies as business needs evolve.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience within healthcare, pharmacy, technology, or highly regulated industries.
  • Media relations and external communications experience.
  • Knowledge of mergers and acquisitions communications, organizational effectiveness, and enterprise transformation programs.
  • Experience supporting technology modernization, digital transformation, or AI implementation initiatives.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-visibility projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and strategic alignment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Communications for Strategic Initiatives: Develop and execute communication strategies for high-profile business initiatives, including organizational transformations, AI adoption, leadership transitions, restructures, mergers and acquisitions, and other special projects.
  • Create clear, audience-specific messaging and communication plans for employees, customers, leaders, and external stakeholders.
  • Translate complex business changes into compelling narratives that drive understanding, engagement, and adoption.
  • Lead communication efforts for technology-enabled transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment between enterprise strategy and operational impact.
  • Advise Leaders and Drive Stakeholder Alignment: Serve as a trusted communications advisor to senior leaders and project teams.
  • Assess stakeholder needs, identify communication risks, and recommend strategies that improve awareness and readiness for change.
  • Partner across corporate communications, business leadership, HR, legal, and project teams to ensure messaging consistency and coordinated delivery.
  • Provide counsel during sensitive situations requiring discretion, judgment, and executive-level communications support.
  • Support External Communications: Deliver surge support for high-priority external communications initiatives and business announcements.
  • Partner with communications and media relations teams on messaging, media considerations, and rapid-response communications activities.
  • Ensure external communications align with organizational priorities and stakeholder expectations.
