About The Position

You will be the Director, FW Tooling and Fabrication for the Fort Worth Site Fabrication team which is responsible for delivering high‑impact manufacturing solutions across multiple advanced aviation programs. As the Director, FW Tooling and Fabrication you will be responsible for leading a large, technically‑focused workforce and driving strategic manufacturing outcomes that support F‑35, C‑130, F‑16, ADP and F‑22 initiatives.

Requirements

• 10+ years proven experience in a complex Production or related environment.
• Demonstrated success in manufacturing execution in difficult environments i.e. managing a union shop, increasing volumes, significant labor increases, inconsistent material supply, producibility and quality challenges.
• Demonstrated Technical and Strategic Leadership abilities
• MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
• The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.

• Ability to manage, coach, train and motivate team in technical and leadership development
• Experience leading a multi-functional team in support of a production line, including but not limited to areas such as machining, assembly, tool and die, packaging.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Fabrication Integrator for the Fort Worth site to deliver customer solutions.
• Develop and manage execution operations and recovery schedules to ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery for all program commitments.
• Lead capacity planning and workforce development, guaranteeing training, tools, procedures and facilities are in place.
• Drive AOM strategy deployment, strategic manufacturing initiatives, including continuous improvement, lean practices and cost‑reduction programs.
• Partner with union leadership and the represented workforce to allocate resources and uphold contractual commitments.
