About The Position

Responsible for managing the organization’s technology operations, infrastructure and development teams. Oversee both the software development team responsible for product development and the IT team responsible for infrastructure, systems, and user support. Responsible for promoting a culture of technology-driven innovation and problem solving across the organization.

Requirements

Proven experience leading and scaling technology teams in a growth-oriented environment.
Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, IT infrastructure management, and cybersecurity best practices.
Stay current on IT trends and best practices, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance technological capabilities
Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams.
Experience with budget management and vendor negotiations.
Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and the ability to balance short-term needs with long-term goals.
10+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, including experience managing both software development and IT infrastructure teams
Prior experience working in a regulated environment

Responsibilities

Ensure the smooth operation, security and scalability of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks and cloud-based systems
Work closely with technology leaders within Corporate to develop and enforce local IT policies, procedures and standards including cybersecurity protocols.
Oversee IT support services to ensure high levels of user satisfaction and minimal downtime.
Oversee the design, development and maintenance of in-house software applications and systems
Ensure adherence to best practices in software development, including code quality, testing and deployment processes.
Drive agile development methodologies and ensure efficient project management and delivery
Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of software developers, IT professionals, and support staff. Including talent acquisition, professional development and performance management for the Technology department
Develop and manage the technology budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and alignment with company goals
Evaluate select and manage relationships with third-party vendors, service providers and consultants.
Work closely with other departments such as Quality, Regulatory, Operations, Marketing, Finance and Sales, to understand their needs and provide technological solutions
