  • Leads vendor and partner strategy: collaborates with procurement and vendors to negotiate favorable outcomes; governs partner performance, delivery health, and risk; ensures vendor engagements accelerate outcomes and do not introduce operational fragility.
  • Builds and develops high-performing teams: establishes a talent strategy; hires, coaches, and develops talent; drives performance management and succession planning; fosters an inclusive culture of accountability, continuous learning, and delivery excellence.
  • Partners across the enterprise to deliver outcomes: collaborates with operating companies, business units, internal IT partners, and third parties; drives alignment across teams to deliver consistent results and improve enterprise-wide technology effectiveness.
  • Fosters continuous improvement through Lean leadership behaviors and sponsorship of key initiatives to improve customer satisfaction, efficiency, quality, and reliability—scaling improvements across multiple teams and stakeholder groups.
  • Ensures compliance and risk management: ensures staff adherence to corporate/technology policies and procedures including architecture and security policies, disaster recovery, NERC CIP, and Sarbanes Oxley controls—while proactively reducing operational and regulatory risk across the portfolio.
