About The Position

Morgan Stanley Services Group Inc. seeks a Director, Technology in New York, NY to develop and support technology solutions for ultra-low latency algorithmic trading and order management systems. Work with business partners and product support teams to understand system requirements. Perform analysis, design, development, testing and production rollout. Develop systems to receive orders from different systems and translate them into an exchange specific format. Write unit tests and automate test cases using python. Perform peer code review, perform quality assurance testing, and present demos to clients. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days a week.

Requirements

• Requires two (2) years of experience in the position offered or two (2) years as an Associate, or a related occupation
• Requires two (2) years of experience with the following skills: C/C++; Python; Javascript; Hobbes; Java; Haskell; HTML5; CSS3; SQL; full stack development including: Flask, Fast API, Node.js, Angular; developing and supporting Electronic Algorithmic Trading Systems; TCP/IP; winsock; UNIX/Linux operating system; SCRUM methodology; GHEC, Jenkins, JIRA, MongoDB; docker; podman; jfrog; typescript; Premakel Bazel; Shell; and Perl/Perl template toolkit.
