About The Position

JLL Technologies is seeking a self-driven Senior Product Manager to define strategy and drive the tactical roadmap for our data center technology and robotics portfolio within our Workplace Management (WPM) division. This role is fundamentally about bringing together the best available technology — a mix of in-house platforms and 3rd-party/partner solutions — into a coherent, integrated stack that technology-enables outstanding data center service delivery. The technology surface spans IoT sensing, remote monitoring, data center facility management (DCFM) platforms, and robotics/automation. You will not be expected to build or manage these technologies from scratch — you will be expected to know the landscape, evaluate what's out there, and manage the vendors and internal partners needed to assemble and operate a holistic stack.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of product management experience, with a track record of managing external vendors and assembling multi-vendor technology stacks (in-house + 3rd-party).
  • Demonstrated experience evaluating, selecting, and managing technology vendors/partners — not primarily managing internal engineering or scrum delivery teams.
  • Ability to independently define strategy and a tactical roadmap, and drive it forward with minimal oversight (self-directed).
  • Comfort operating across a technology landscape spanning IoT, remote monitoring, and/or facility or infrastructure management platforms — deep, hands-on data center facility management experience is not required.
  • Strong stakeholder translation skills — able to turn operational/business needs into clear requirements for both internal teams and external vendors.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with data center facility management (DCIM, BMS, NOC) — a plus, not a requirement.
  • Exposure to robotics or automation technology evaluation.
  • Experience with enterprise infrastructure or IoT vendors (e.g., Supermicro, Hitachi, Lumen, or similar).
  • Background in facilities management, workplace services, or smart building technology.

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy and tactical roadmap for assembling a holistic data center technology stack, combining in-house platforms with 3rd-party and partner solutions.
  • Continuously scan the market for best-of-breed technologies across IoT, remote monitoring, DCFM, and robotics, and make build/buy/partner recommendations.
  • Lead technology and vendor evaluations — RFI/RFP support, proof-of-concept scoping, and vendor scorecards — to select solutions that best fit business needs.
  • Manage ongoing relationships with external vendors and technology partners, including performance, roadmap alignment, and commercial coordination.
  • Work closely with internal teams (REMs Workplace Management, IOC/Smart Building Platform, operations) to surface requirements and translate them into technical and vendor specifications.
  • Serve as the primary coordination point between internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure delivery, integration, and adoption of selected technologies.
  • Lead cross-functional (largely non-engineering) working sessions to align internal teams and outside partners around a shared roadmap.
  • Track and evaluate robotics and automation solutions applicable to workplace and data center operations, and recommend where they fit the broader stack.
  • Drive innovation in analytics, diagnostics, and workflow automation by identifying where partner technology can be layered into existing operations.

Benefits

  • 401(k) plan with matching company contributions
  • Comprehensive Medical, Dental & Vision Care
  • Paid parental leave at 100% of salary
  • Paid Time Off and Company Holidays
  • Early access to earned wages through Daily Pay
