About The Position

The Director is primarily responsible for ensuring smooth underwriting processes. They are the colleague tasked with ensuring that all parties receive necessary documents and information and that calls are scheduled and run in an organized fashion. They are also responsible for assembling submissions, reviewing and analyzing quotes, negotiating with underwriters, and keeping clients informed of placement status. Responsibilities

Supports the broking team that manages tax liability insurance policies.
Prepares submission and distributes to marketplace.
Reviews quotes and organizes into summary report.
Assists in communicating with underwriters via e-mail and telephone.
Assists in communicating with clients via e-mail and telephone.
Obtains and distributes information from clients and underwriters.
Reviews policies and binders for accuracy and completeness.
Maintains and develops business relationships with producers and senior underwriting contacts.
Maintains knowledge of insurance carriers and their business practices.
Participates in continuing education to maintain license and industry credentials.
