The role emphasizes building a team culture of urgency, accountability, and care for the candidate experience. The Director will act as a steward of Wider Circle's culture and talent standards, maintaining high hiring bars even under pressure. Additionally, they will be responsible for building and defending the employer brand, translating Wider Circle's "Love, Learn, Grow" ethos into compelling candidate narratives and sourcing strategies.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of team leadership experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in healthcare, human services, or community health settings
  • Led a high-volume recruiting team that sustained 100+ hires per month over an extended period, and preferably led the team through a period of rapid growth.
  • Recruited Community Health Workers, frontline healthcare workers, or allied health professionals — and you understand what makes them accept an offer.
  • Managed a team of recruiters, including 1099 or contract recruiters, and know how to drive accountability without micromanaging.
  • Built sourcing infrastructure, playbooks, and dashboards from scratch
  • Communicated clearly and directly with leadership, even when the news is a pipeline risk or a missed target.
  • An Indeed power user who understands how to write, test, and optimize job postings for hourly and professional roles in competitive markets.
  • A systems thinker who tracks leading indicators and fixes process problems before they become volume problems.
  • Mission-driven. Wider Circle’s work sits at the intersection of community, health equity, and social care — this should excite you, not just interest you.
