The Director of System Contracting reports to the Executive Vice President and General Counsel. This individual is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the System Contracting Department’s operations. This includes supervising the Contracting Department to ensure intradepartmental efficiency and organization and interdepartmental coordination, collaboration, and communication. In connection with those responsibilities, the Director works closely with CoxHealth departments and operational leaders to understand their contracting needs, requirements, and timelines. This individual plays a crucial role in reviewing, negotiating, and managing contracts with third-party vendors. The Director of System Contracting seeks to obtain favorable contractual terms and foster positive relationships with key partners to achieve CoxHealth’s financial and operational goals and to strengthen CoxHealth’s overall approach to contract management.
