About The Position

Reporting to the Lead Director of Business Operations, the Supply Chain Director is responsible for strategic leadership and operational oversight of supply chain functions within the Fabrication (Fabco) division, including procurement, planning, materials management, and logistics. This role ensures the efficient, cost-effective, and compliant flow of materials and finished goods while supporting business growth, service excellence, and risk mitigation.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 8+ years of progressive supply chain experience, including leadership responsibility, and experience leading end-to-end supply chain functions in a multi-site environment
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement supply chain strategies and drive organizational change
  • Business acumen and analytical capability, with experience operating in complex environments
  • Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments, including walking, standing, and sitting for extended periods
  • Comfortable working in industrial environments with appropriate PPE
  • Up to 20-30% travel; must be eligible to travel within Canada and to the U.S.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional supply chain designation considered an asset (CSCP, CPIM, or equivalent)
  • Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments is considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee the end-to-end supply chain strategy aligned with corporate and financial targets
  • Lead procurement and sourcing activities, including supplier selection, contract negotiations, and performance management to achieve quality, cost, and service objectives
  • Oversee demand planning, supply planning, and materials management to optimize service levels and working capital
  • Ensure inventory accuracy and integrity through effective controls and cycle counting practices, supporting manufacturing and financial objectives
  • Direct logistics and transportation to ensure timely, compliant, and cost-effective product movement
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across cost, service, inventory, and supplier performance, driving accountability and continuous improvement
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure business continuity and resilience
  • Lead and develop supply chain teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Ensure effective use of ERP systems and data to enable operational excellence and informed decision-making
