About The Position

This role is for a supply chain leader who enjoys building strategy and then making it happen. You know how to balance planning, sourcing, logistics, supplier performance, and operational execution to keep a business moving forward. Based on the job description, the role is responsible for leading Enwave's supply chain strategy, sourcing initiatives, supplier management, and sales and operations planning activities. At Enwave, you'll help support the growth of sustainable energy infrastructure and projects that contribute to a lower-carbon future. It's an opportunity to apply supply chain expertise in a business focused on innovation, growth, and decarbonization. As Director, Supply Chain, you'll lead the development of supply chain strategies, oversee key sourcing and supplier initiatives, and work closely with leaders across the organization to ensure materials, services, and resources are aligned with business priorities.

Requirements

At least 5 years of supply chain leadership experience, preferably within district energy, energy infrastructure, or decarbonization-related environments
Proven experience leading supply chain, sourcing, logistics, and supplier management programs
Strong strategic thinking paired with a hands-on, execution-focused leadership style
Ability to develop and implement supply chain and inventory management strategies
Strong negotiation, supplier evaluation, and relationship management capabilities
Bachelor's degree required
Advanced proficiency with ERP systems supporting purchasing and materials management
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment that requires flexibility and adaptability
Experience hiring, coaching, and developing high-performing teams

Nice To Haves

Master's degree considered an asset
SCMP or a related professional designation preferred

Responsibilities

Lead supply chain strategy across planning, sourcing, inventory management, logistics, and supplier performance.
Ensure the organization has the right materials, resources, and processes in place to support operational priorities and future growth.
Oversee sourcing initiatives from concept through execution, collaborating with leaders across the business to align resources, priorities, and project outcomes.
Establish strategies that improve supplier performance, strengthen service and delivery reliability, and help manage costs across the organization.
Build and develop a high-performing supply chain team.
Influence stakeholders across the business.
Bring data, insight, and sound judgment to decisions that affect operational performance and long-term value creation.
