About The Position

Nextpower is seeking a highly strategic and execution-oriented leader to drive business systems initiatives and transformation programs across our global Supply Chain organization. This role will lead and support enterprise-wide program management efforts focused on supply chain process optimization, digital transformation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives. Based at our Fremont, California headquarters and reporting directly to the SVP of Global Supply Chain, this individual will partner closely with cross-functional leaders across Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Project Engineering, R&D, Manufacturing, IT, and other business functions to identify opportunities, implement scalable solutions, and improve organizational effectiveness across the end-to-end supply chain ecosystem. The ideal candidate combines strong program management discipline, strategic thinking, operational expertise, and exceptional communication and leadership capabilities. This individual will also support Supply Chain operational integration activities related to mergers and acquisitions (M&A), ensuring alignment, scalability, and continuity across acquired organizations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Program Management, Business Transformation, or related leadership roles.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale cross-functional programs and business systems initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain operations, manufacturing environments, procurement, planning, logistics, and operational processes.
  • Experience driving operational excellence, Lean initiatives, and process improvement programs.
  • Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience managing executive-level communications and cross-functional alignment.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience with ERP and enterprise business systems implementations (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar platforms).
  • PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or related program/project management certifications preferred.
  • Experience supporting Supply Chain operational integration in M&A environments strongly preferred.
  • Experience in manufacturing, renewable energy, industrial technology, or high-growth global organizations preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support strategic transformation initiatives across global Supply Chain operations, including process optimization, digitalization, automation, and operational scalability.
  • Partner with executive leadership to define and execute roadmap initiatives that improve efficiency, visibility, cost performance, quality, and operational agility.
  • Identify and implement innovative technologies, software platforms, analytics tools, and business systems that enhance supply chain capabilities.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment and change management across multiple stakeholders and global teams.
  • Oversee deployment of business system initiatives related to Supply Chain, including ERP enhancements, planning systems, procurement platforms, manufacturing systems, reporting tools, and operational workflows, working closely with IT teams.
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize initiatives, manage implementation timelines, and ensure successful adoption.
  • Establish governance frameworks, project tracking methodologies, KPI reporting, and executive-level communication processes.
  • Ensure business systems support scalable operational growth and align with long-term organizational strategy.
  • Support program management activities related to mergers and acquisitions, specifically focused on Supply Chain operational integration.
  • Coordinate integration planning and execution across procurement, planning, logistics, manufacturing operations, supplier management, inventory processes, and supporting business systems.
  • Assist in harmonizing operational processes, systems, reporting structures, and organizational workflows across acquired entities.
  • Track integration milestones, risks, dependencies, and synergy realization efforts.

  • For candidates located in California, the annual salary range for this position is $190,000 to 225,000.
  • Compensation ranges for other locations, including Tennessee, may differ based on the applicable market.
