About The Position

The Director, Supply Chain Planning will lead end-to-end supply and inventory planning for Cosette Pharmaceuticals’ External Portfolio. The role is responsible for reliable product availability while optimizing inventory, working capital, and customer service across an external supply network that includes API suppliers, CMOs, CPOs, and component vendors. The Director will lead operational planning and help transform the planning organization through talent development, process standardization, and digital enablement. The position supports a scalable supply chain and works cross-functionally to maintain supply continuity, manage risk, support portfolio and network changes, and improve performance. The role follows a hybrid schedule with three onsite days per week at the Bridgewater, New Jersey office and requires approximately 10–15% travel.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
10+ years of pharmaceutical supply chain experience.
5+ years of leadership experience in planning and supply chain management.
Proven experience managing S&OP, demand planning, supply planning, and inventory management processes.
Experience supporting outsourced pharmaceutical manufacturing networks.
Strong understanding of forecasting methodologies and inventory optimization strategies.
SAP experience required.
Demonstrated success leading organizational transformation and change management initiatives.
Exceptional analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive results in a matrixed environment.
Willingness to travel approximately 10–15%.

Responsibilities

Lead supply, inventory, and replenishment planning activities across the External Portfolio.
Own and continuously improve the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) / Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process.
Drive inventory optimization, service level improvements, and working capital performance.
Collaborate with Commercial, Operations, Finance, Quality, and External Manufacturing teams to ensure supply continuity.
Identify and mitigate supply risks, shortages, capacity constraints, and inventory imbalances.
Establish planning governance, KPIs, and performance management processes.
Develop planning talent through coaching, succession planning, and organizational development.
Standardize planning processes, policies, and planning methodologies across the portfolio.
Lead adoption of advanced planning tools, automation, analytics, and digital supply chain capabilities.
Support product launches, tech transfers, portfolio changes, and network optimization projects.
Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
