About The Position

As the Director of Supply Chain & Operations for the Tim Hortons CPG Team, you will lead the end-to-end supply chain strategy and execution for Tim Horton’s Consumer Packaged Goods business across the U.S., Canada, and International markets. This role is pivotal in scaling our operations to meet growing global demand — integrating planning, logistics, vendor strategy, and supply chain resilience under a single vision. You will own the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process, lead a high-performing cross-regional team, and serve as a strategic partner to Finance, Legal, Commercial, and Innovation teams. You’ll balance day-to-day operational excellence with long-term transformation — driving efficiency, agility, and sustainability across our supply network.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, logistics, operations, or procurement within CPG, food, or manufacturing sectors.
  • Proven success managing multi-geographic operations across the U.S., Canada, and international markets.
  • Deep expertise in IBP / S&OP ownership and end-to-end supply chain planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, manage complex stakeholder relationships, and deliver cross-functional alignment.
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical capability; able to model, analyze, and optimize trade-offs between cost, service, and inventory.
  • Experience in global logistics, customs, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong leadership presence with ability to develop teams and present effectively to executive leadership.
  • Advanced Excel and ERP skills (SAP preferred); experience with planning, analytics, or visibility platforms a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering required.
  • Commitment to fostering sustainability and continuous improvement across the supply network

Responsibilities

  • Lead and own the global Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process, including demand consensus, supply planning, scenario modeling, and executive governance.
  • Define and implement the global supply chain strategy, aligning U.S., Canada, and International operations to corporate growth and profitability goals.
  • Drive governance and accountability across the end-to-end planning cycle, ensuring financial integration and data-driven decision-making.
  • Present supply chain strategy, performance insights, and risk mitigation updates to the executive leadership team.
  • Oversee the full operational network: inbound freight, customs, 3PL logistics, and distribution across all geographies.
  • Evaluate and evolve the supply chain network footprint to optimize cost, service, and flexibility.
  • Ensure inventory optimization and alignment between demand and supply plans, identifying risks and executing mitigation strategies.
  • Lead contingency and resilience planning, including seasonal rotations and temperature-controlled / non-ambient product management.
  • Serve as the primary relationship lead for key suppliers and logistics partners across regions.
  • Input on high-value global contract negotiations, ensuring favorable commercial terms, risk protection, and long-term supplier development.
  • Champion supplier scorecarding and capability development programs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal and Finance to ensure compliance, commercial governance, and contractual integrity.
  • Own and manage the supply chain P&L elements: cost-to-serve, inventory carrying cost, and logistics performance.
  • Define and monitor key supply chain KPIs (OTIF, forecast accuracy, inventory turns, cost per unit, fill rates).
  • Lead risk management frameworks for supply continuity, global trade, and regulatory compliance (e.g., customs, USMCA).
  • Drive continuous improvement and lean initiatives across planning, logistics, and manufacturing partnerships to improve agility and efficiency.
  • Sponsor the digital transformation of supply chain systems, including planning tools and automation platforms.
  • Standardize processes and data visibility across geographies to enable proactive, data-driven management.
  • Partner with IT and analytics teams to implement tools that support advanced forecasting, scenario modeling, and network optimization.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a global team of 4 direct reports, building a culture of accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence.
  • Design and execute succession and capability development plans to strengthen the supply chain function.
  • Foster collaboration across cross-functional teams and geographies, ensuring consistent processes and shared goals.
  • Partner with the Innovation and R&D teams to ensure supply readiness, risk mitigation, and cost modeling for new product launches.
  • Act as a strategic business partner to Commercial, Finance, Marketing, and Operations, ensuring supply chain alignment with business objectives and trade-off management between cost, service, and growth.
  • Embed ESG and sustainability principles into supplier selection, packaging decisions, and logistics practices.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, import/export, food safety, and trade regulations across all regions.
