About The Position

Provides strategic financial leadership & partnership to the Supply Chain organization. Acts as the bridge between Operations and Finance, delivering financial insights, inventory stewardship, capital investment governance, & performance management supporting operational excellence, productivity, cashflow & long-term value creation.

Requirements

  • 8-10+ years of progressive Finance experience, including significant exposure to Operations Finance, Supply Chain Finance, or Plant Finance.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex operational and financial data into clear business insights and recommendations.
  • Experience simplifying processes, improving reporting systems, and designing new ways of working.
  • 4+ years of people leadership experience, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
  • Experience using JDE, JDA, Hyperion, or similar ERP/financial planning systems to enhance reporting and analytics.
  • MBA/CPA designation
  • Ability to build productive relationships
  • Proficiency in planning, prioritization and project management.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using Power BI or Tableau is an asset
  • Exposure to winemaking or viticulture is an asset.
  • WSET or similar wine education of winemaking and viticulture

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Operations leadership to support supply chain, manufacturing, inventory, and operational strategies.
  • Provide financial insights and decision support on productivity initiatives, network optimization, strategic investments, and operating model improvements.
  • Assess financial implications of operational decisions across cost, service, inventory, cash flow, and profitability objectives.
  • Deliver scenario analysis and recommendations to support informed decision-making and long-term value creation.
  • Support acquisitions, integrations, transformations, and other strategic initiatives impacting Operations.
  • Partner with the EVP Supply Chain on multi-year value creation plans focused on productivity, inventory optimization, working capital improvement.
  • Lead the annual and long-range capital planning process in partnership with Operations leadership.
  • Evaluate and prioritize capital investments based on strategic alignment, risk, return, and business impact.
  • Establish and maintain capital governance processes, including project approval, tracking, reporting, and benefit realization.
  • Monitor capital portfolio performance and challenge business case assumptions to ensure strong ROI outcomes.
  • Provide financial oversight of inventory investments, inventory valuation, inventory accuracy, and working capital performance.
  • Partner with Operations to ensure inventory strategies are aligned with business objectives and reflected appropriately in forecasts, budgets, and financial plans.
  • Provide financial stewardship of Operations results, including COGS, manufacturing costs, inventory, working capital, and capital investments.
  • Lead forecasting, reporting, and performance management processes that provide visibility into operational results and key business drivers.
  • Drive fixed and variable COGS analysis to identify productivity opportunities, cost drivers, manufacturing efficiencies, and margin improvement actions.
  • Deliver meaningful KPI reporting, variance analysis, and insights that drive accountability and business performance.
  • Champion the development and enhancement of Power BI dashboards and analytical tools that improve visibility and support decision-making.
  • Ensure appropriate controls, governance, and compliance related to inventory, capital expenditures, and operational financial processes.
  • Partner with FP&A and Controllership to ensure accurate financial reporting, inventory accounting, and forecasting assumptions.
  • Translate operational performance into clear financial implications, enabling proactive management of profitability, cash flow, inventory, and working capital.
  • Build and develop a high-performing Operations Finance team with strong analytical, business partnering, and leadership capabilities.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop organizational capabilities and succession plans to support future business needs.
