About The Position
The Director, Supply Chain Management, leads the strategic direction and execution of supply chain operations to optimize product flow from suppliers to stores, ensuring alignment with sales, inventory, and profitability goals. This role drives continuous improvement initiatives, fosters collaboration among stakeholders, and manages external partnerships to enhance service levels and operational efficiency. By leveraging data analytics and innovative methodologies, the director supports cost reduction and process optimization while cultivating a high-performing workforce committed to integrity, customer focus, and sustainable business practices. The team leads supply chain execution by optimizing product flow from suppliers to stores, enhancing sales, inventory health, and profitability. It collaborates with cross-functional partners to resolve constraints and manage disruptions, ensuring strategic goals are met. The team communicates operational expectations to suppliers and transportation partners, addressing performance and driving accountability. Focused on continuous improvement, it designs and implements efficient processes that reduce waste and costs while improving service levels. Leveraging end-to-end supply chain and lean methodologies, the team advances operational performance and supports the company’s commitment to excellence and innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field and 5 years’ experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area OR 7 years’ experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area.
- 3 years’ experience with advanced functionality of Microsoft Office.
- 2 years’ supervisory experience.
- Extensive experience in supply chain management with a focus on optimizing product flow and inventory profitability.
- Proven leadership skills in directing cross-functional teams and managing supplier and transporter relationships.
- Strong ability to analyze operational processes, identify constraints, and implement effective resolutions.
- Expertise in developing and executing supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives and cost reduction goals.
- Excellent communication skills to convey expectations and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Commitment to continuous improvement, innovation, and adoption of lean methodologies.
- Ability to develop talent and foster a high-performing, ethical work environment.

Responsibilities
