Director, Strategy & Operations (DashOS)

DoorDash•San Francisco, NY

About The Position

DoorDash’s DashOS business connects merchants’ own customer channels with the broader DoorDash ecosystem through hardware, software, payments, and ordering integrations. The Strategy & Operations team translates merchant needs and business opportunities into product and go-to-market priorities and builds the operating capabilities required to deliver them, working across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Revenue Operations. The Director of Strategy & Operations sets the strategic direction and leads business operations for DashOS. The role translates the long-term vision into financial plans, product and go-to-market priorities, and an operating model that supports growth, merchant retention, and healthy unit economics. The Director leads the Strategy & Operations team, directly owns product operations, and partners closely with go-to-market, launch and implementation, support, and account management leaders to design the operating model and improve the merchant experience as the business scales. This leader builds the team and systems needed for growth, aligns cross-functional leaders around shared outcomes, and navigates decisions involving merchant needs, growth, profitability, and partner dependencies. The role requires an entrepreneurial leader who identifies opportunities, makes thoughtful decisions amid uncertainty, and stays close to operational details.
