About The Position

CGI Federal is seeking a Director, Strategy & Intelligence, who will be responsible for maturing CGI Federal's competitive intelligence across the company, embedding it in the business development and capture life cycles, assessing potential opportunities and risks to CGI Federal's business, and working collaboratively with CGI Federal senior leadership to identify strategies to adapt and grow in a rapidly changing environment. This position is located in our Fairfax, VA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, public policy, law, economics, data analytics, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in federal consulting or contracting with emphasis on competitive intelligence and business analytics.
  • Strong command of the business development life cycle.
  • Thorough understanding of the federal contracting environment and processes; familiarity with the FAR and agency supplements; knowledge of SBIR Phase III authorities is a plus.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, analytical problem solving, and ability to synthesize complex information for executive decision making.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate across diverse teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mature the enterprise BI and competitive intelligence program, including frameworks, governance, automation of processes, and stakeholder communication.
  • Create and maintain intelligence assets such as competitor profiles, battle cards, market dashboards, and insight reports to improve awareness and knowledge across the company.
  • Continuously monitor competitors, acquisitions and partnerships, and government acquisition trends; translate findings into actionable insights for leadership and pursuit teams.
  • Deliver BI driven guidance on business decisions, business development, teaming, traditional and non traditional contract structures, pricing, and proposal strategies to improve competitiveness and win rates.
  • Provide leadership across implementation of strategic initiatives and action plans; track outcomes through BI metrics and reporting.
  • Conduct research and modeling to support strategic planning and mergers and acquisitions assumptions.
  • Partner with Business Engineering, Contracts, Legal, Finance, and business development teams to ensure acquisition readiness and compliance while integrating FAR and SBIR Phase III authorities into BI analyses when relevant.
  • Represent CGI Federal at industry events, conferences, and meetings with government agencies; share data driven insights and thought leadership.
