About The Position

LCMC Health is seeking a highly collaborative, relationship-focused leader to serve as our Director, Strategic Partnership Relations. This influential role supports the partnership between LCMC Health and our academic affiliates by fostering communication, collaboration, and alignment on key operational and strategic priorities. As a trusted resource to senior leadership, the Director will connect stakeholders across the health system and academic organizations, facilitate information exchange, identify opportunities for partnership enhancement, and support initiatives related to provider recruitment, transition planning, clinic operations, and organizational development. This role is ideal for a healthcare professional who thrives on building relationships, coordinating complex initiatives, solving problems, and creating alignment among diverse stakeholders. The Director serves as a liaison and facilitator, helping advance the mission and strategic priorities of both organizations through effective communication, accountability, and partnership development.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive healthcare experience in one or more of the following areas: Provider relations, Provider recruitment, Physician practice administration, Healthcare operations support, Service line development, Healthcare sales, Project management or coordination, Healthcare leadership support roles
  • Master's Degree in: Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, Related healthcare field

Responsibilities

  • Support the ongoing partnership between LCMC Health and academic affiliates through proactive communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and resource to health system, physician group, hospital, and academic leadership teams.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen organizational alignment, enhance operational effectiveness, and improve partnership outcomes.
  • Facilitate communication among leadership teams and stakeholders to ensure shared priorities are understood and advanced.
  • Assist in resolving barriers and driving accountability for key initiatives and commitments.
  • Support and track provider recruitment activities from initial planning through onboarding and first day of patient care.
  • Coordinate stakeholder communication and monitor recruitment milestones to ensure timely progress.
  • Identify and escalate recruitment-related barriers while facilitating solutions across multiple departments.
  • Support physician and advanced practice provider transitions, onboarding readiness, and integration efforts.
  • Meet regularly with LCMC Health Corporate, hospital leadership, LCMC Health Physician Group (LHPG), and Tulane leadership teams.
  • Support provider recruitment priorities, service line growth planning, operational readiness efforts, and strategic initiatives.
  • Facilitate productive discussions and assist leadership teams in advancing collaborative goals and solutions.
  • Promote a customer-focused approach to relationship management and stakeholder engagement.
  • Monitor, analyze, and summarize provider recruitment, onboarding, transition, referral, clinic operations, and operational-readiness metrics.
  • Develop reports and executive-level summaries that support service line planning and informed decision-making.
  • Identify trends, opportunities, and risks for leadership awareness and action.
  • Provide visibility into key initiatives without assuming responsibility for clinic performance outcomes, budget management, or P&L results.
  • Serve as a key point of coordination among: LCMC Health Corporate, LCMC Health Physician Group, Hospital leadership teams, Clinic operations leaders, Tulane School of Medicine physicians and leadership, Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), Other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Promote alignment, communication, issue resolution, and follow-through across organizations.
  • Prepare and coordinate agendas, reports, issue logs, dashboards, and trend analyses for LCMC Health-Tulane University Joint Council meetings.
  • Attend Joint Council meetings and present updates related to: Provider recruitment, Onboarding and transition planning, Stakeholder engagement, Barrier resolution, Strategic partnership initiatives.
  • Develop executive-ready presentations and briefing materials for senior leadership discussions.
