About The Position

Reporting to the Senior Vice President, AMER Sales, the Director, Strategic Initiatives is an individual contributor and trusted advisor to the AMER Sales Leadership Team that is responsible for owning and executing key Sales initiatives (both BAU and transformational) across the AMER region. The successful incumbent will possess a strong GTM project and program background and will lead various Sales efforts that will require close collaboration with cross-functional teams (including: Marketing, Customer Success, Channel, Operations, Product, GTM Ops, HR, EDNA, CDIO) to drive business outcomes.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in GTM strategy, sales operations, program management, or transformation roles within a B2B, enterprise, or technology‑driven sales environment
  • Proven experience leading large‑scale, cross‑functional programs with measurable business impact
  • Strong strategic thinking combined with hands‑on execution capability
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment without formal authority
  • Experience translating strategy into operating models, processes, or motions that enable frontline sales execution
  • High level of business acumen, comfort with ambiguity, and ability to manage competing priorities

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting or partnering with Regional Sales organizations (AMER preferred)
  • Background in sales transformation, productivity initiatives, role design, or AI‑enabled sales processes
  • Familiarity with verticalized sales motions and solution‑selling models
  • Creates clarity where ambiguity exists and turns strategy into action
  • Is recognized as a trusted execution partner by Sales and GTM leadership
  • Drives disciplined execution while remaining adaptable as priorities evolve
  • Measures impact, not just activity, and continuously improves how GTM work gets done

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance to AMER Sales Leaders to execute plans, tactics and actions to meet business objectives
  • Actively collaborate with Marketing to identify, evaluate, procure, and deploy campaigns, events, sales plays & other activities that help drive funnel growth
  • Collaborate with the AMER Sales Leadership Team to build an effective management system for monitoring Sales performance against expected goals & priorities
  • Provide analysis and input to AMER Sales Leadership team in selecting future growth areas and new initiatives to improve seller productivity and performance against KPI's
