This role is unique as this individual will be working directly with one of Evolent’s largest client serving as a consultative partner and helping to identify opportunities for same store growth within health plan specialty management and Evolent. This Strategic Account Director will implement relationship best practices, understand and deliver upon strategic growth opportunities and drive value, while effectively communicating and increasing satisfaction at all levels of the partner organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelors’ Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5 or more years in client or account management leadership roles
  • 5+ years broad-based Health Plan experience
  • Ability to find creative solutions in an ever-changing and growing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including at the C-level
  • Exceptionally high “Emotional Intelligence” and ability to connect with diverse constituents, actively listen, and identify key areas of sensitivity
  • High speed internet over 10 Mbps and, specifically for all call center employees, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting an assigned book of business strategically to achieve objectives, including relationship development, growth, retention, and customer objectives, including risks management and developing opportunities associated with current client
  • Cultivate productive, trusted relationships with key executives – including C-level and both internal and external stakeholders of relationships
  • Utilize data-driven resources to run efficient/effective meetings and work sessions with the client and all relevant Subject Matter Expert (SME)s, both internal and external
  • Possess working knowledge of Evolent products and services and can articulate value proposition for all at a high level
  • Develop best-in-class presentation strategies, narratives, and content to support external meetings with senior stakeholders
  • Manage internal deal solutioning and strategy and maintain internal pipeline systems including Salesforce
  • Develop and socialize pricing recommendations with internal stakeholders, and present pricing recommendations within internal forums for sign-off
  • Support the contracting process for any new business and annual reconciliation process
  • Lead regular Partnership review meetings for client, including strategic account planning, relationship mapping, competitive market analysis and issue management
  • Advocate for partner culture, serve as an ambassador within Evolent and the go-to expert on client priorities and how to get things done within the health plan organization
  • Aggressively manage all aspects of the contracts as well as ensure ongoing contract performance through risk management activities including assurance of Service Level Agreement performance, rate/savings maximization through ongoing benefit analysis and adherence to requirements of the client’s legal and regulatory environment
