Requirements

  • BS degree, MS/MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in sales.

Responsibilities

  • Leading a cross-functional team including the strategic accounts team and sales operation and analytics functions for the Pediatric Nutrition Business Unit.
  • Driving a vision of Operational Excellence.
  • Leading the strategic accounts team (National Accounts Managers and Clinical Specialists) to foster relationships with key hospital systems.
  • Leading the analysis and insights to support the sales organization.
  • Managing sales reporting, analysis, and bonus development and execution for the sales team.
  • Collaborating with the Marketing and Sales Training team on the development of field sales tactical plans, leveraging insights and best practices from the field.
  • Developing and executing sales force strategy and business planning for a sales organization of over 300 people.
  • Translating business insights into sales strategy, field priorities, and growth initiatives for the front-line sales team.
  • Integrating sales best practices into marketing strategy.
  • Partnering with senior leadership on business planning, resource allocation, and execution strategy.
  • Developing and executing sales force geographical alignments.
  • Leading bonus plan development and execution.
  • Conducting monthly sales analysis and reporting, including the use of sales tracking software (e.g., Salesforce.com).
  • Providing Supply Chain support for hospital inventory management and forecasting.
  • Developing commercial strategy and customer engagement for national hospital systems.
  • Leading the National Account Manager team responsible for national and/or multi-regional scope or broad hospital system accounts.
  • Aligning Clinical Specialist team priorities for the execution of strategies and programs with key healthcare customers.
  • Directing contract strategy, account growth initiatives, and executive-level customer relationships.
  • Overseeing market access strategies and account engagement plans for priority health systems and strategic customers.
  • Coordinating cross-functional resources to drive customer adoption, contract performance, and business growth.
  • Serving as a strategic advisor to senior commercial leadership.
  • Presenting recommendations and influencing decisions impacting sales performance, customer strategy, and organizational priorities.
  • Recruiting and developing organizational talent.
  • Collaborating with the Sr. Manager of Sales Training in the planning and execution of sales meetings.
