Director / Sr. Director, Global Procurement and Planning
About The Position
A growing life sciences manufacturer with U.S. and European sites is creating its first global procurement and planning function. The role will connect procurement and planning operations that currently run independently at each site. It reports to the EVP of Operations and offers an opportunity to build the function from the ground up, partner directly with executive leadership, and lead analytics, automation, and AI initiatives across sites. The position is hybrid and based in Florida, Minnesota, or Indiana. It involves up to 30% travel, including international travel. Compensation is $180,000 to $240,000 plus bonus, based on level and experience.
Requirements
- Experience leading multi-site procurement and planning teams in highly regulated manufacturing.
- Experience implementing or improving ERP, planning, BI, or AI tools.
- Ability to work effectively across sites, time zones, and cultures.
- Ability to perform the job as described.
Responsibilities
- Set global procurement strategy, sourcing, and supplier performance.
- Lead supply, material, and operations planning, including SIOP.
- Drive inventory optimization and supply resilience.
- Build multi-site analytics and executive reporting.
- Develop the team, systems, and processes.
- Lead analytics, automation, and AI initiatives across sites.
