About The Position

Grafana Labs is seeking a Director, Solutions Engineering, East to lead and manage a team of high-performing Solution Engineers. This role involves being a cultural ambassador for the organization, fostering strong partnerships between Sales and Solutions Engineering roles, and scaling the SE organization to over 20 individuals across multiple products, industries, segments, and go-to-market strategies. The Director will collaborate with Sales leadership to evolve repeatable processes, playbooks, job architectures, and enablement programs to increase win rates. This individual will also serve as a thought leader, both internally and externally, ensuring field feedback influences product and GTM strategy. The ideal candidate is passionate about hands-on involvement and driving opportunities alongside VP of Sales counterparts.

Requirements

Ideally Located on the East Coast of the US
At least 2 years of experience in 2nd line SE leadership
Experience scaling teams to over 30+ employees
Proven success working in a fast-paced, high growth startup environment
Experience working in open source, developer-centric GTM motions, or observability
Extensive experience with complex, enterprise sales
