About The Position

Morgan Stanley Services Group Inc. is seeking a Director, Software Engineer in Chicago, IL to build technical tools, connections, and capabilities to support internal business needs. Develop and maintain software solutions that support business needs. Design, develop, deliver, and support the technical platform behind the products and services used by the Business. Develop prototypes and third-party service integration. Develop software applications for financial markets with understanding of Equities, Futures, and Options. Work within the Scrum Framework and Agile methodologies. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
Three (3) years of experience in the position offered or three (3) years as a Business Analyst, Software Developer, or a related occupation
Three (3) years of experience with Java
Three (3) years of experience with Spring
Three (3) years of experience with Spring Boot
Three (3) years of experience developing prototypes
Three (3) years of experience with third-party service integration
Three (3) years of experience with Multi-threading and networking protocols
Three (3) years of experience with Streaming Technologies
Three (3) years of experience with Scrum Framework
Three (3) years of experience with Agile methodologies
Three (3) years of experience with Linux environments
Three (3) years of experience with Git
Three (3) years of experience with Maven
Three (3) years of experience with Jenkins
Three (3) years of experience with Teams
Three (3) years of experience with JIRA
