About The Position

Morgan Stanley Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Director, Lead Software Engineer in Alpharetta, Georgia to support comprehensive application development, including functional, technical specifications, design and development for Digital Business Automation. Design and develop core Java applications using Spring and RestAPIs. Analyze user requirements, envision system features and functionality. Collaborate with other teams to build interfaces with their systems. Interface with global team of developers and business users. Produce proof of concept in the new areas of development. Conduct knowledge sharing sessions with the team. Ensure high quality of deliverables while enforcing development and security best practices. Participate in design discussions and contribute to the architecture process. Investigate production issues. Provide technical support for debugging web applications, database and assistance to production systems. Responsible for Production stability.

Requirements

  • Master’s in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, or a related field of study.
  • Three (3) years of experience in the position offered or three (3) years of experience as a/an Product Manager, Tech Lead, Senior Software Engineer, or a related occupation.
  • Three (3) years of experience with the following skills: Java; Python; JavaScript; TypeScript; SQL; Spring; Microservices; Hibernate; MyBatis; Node.js; Angular; HTML; Bootstrap; Highcharts; ReactJS; AWS; Azure; Docker; Kubernetes; AppDynamics; Splunk; DI/IoC; MVC; Layered Architecture; and Architecture and Design Patterns, including: Data Transfer Object (DTO) or ViewModel; Factory Method; Abstract Factory; Builder; Prototype; Singleton; Adapter; Façade; Decorator; Proxy; Composite; Bridge; Strategy; Template Method; Observer; Command; Chain of Responsibility; State; Mediator; Memento; Visitor; and Iterator.
  • Two (2) years of experience with the following skill: Grafana.
