About The Position

This role owns the non-commercial Obesity Insights & Analytics agenda across scientific domains, including R&D, Medical, and Clinical Development, and operations domains, including Clinical Operations, Supply, and related Operations functions. As the trusted Insights & Analytics partner to senior leaders across these functions, the Director connects priorities, surfaces cross-functional dependencies, frames the questions with the greatest potential to improve decisions and outcomes, and mobilizes the right data and expertise to deliver clear recommendations for Obesity and Related Conditions leadership. During the initial capability build, the Director will operate as an agile enterprise problem solver, flexing across the highest-priority functional and cross-functional needs. In parallel, the Director will build the long-term team, operating model, and recurring portfolio required to create sustained value. The Director is accountable for prioritization, problem framing, analytical strategy and delivery, executive synthesis, and decision-impact measurement, partnering with the India-based Scientific and Operations Intelligence capability and other experts to scale delivery. Commercial Insights & Analytics and Competitive Intelligence are outside the remit. Success is measured by decisions improved, risks anticipated, and value created.

  • Build reusable decision products and analytical capabilities, including scenario models, evidence maps, risk dashboards, decision trees, and leading indicators.
  • Apply advanced analytics and AI where they materially improve quality, speed, or scale.
  • Build the long-term team and operating model, including intake and prioritization, stakeholder engagement, work-product standards, governance, and an effective delivery model across the India-based Scientific and Operations Intelligence capability, functional analytics teams, and subject-matter experts.
